The room felt a bit tight for a family.

The location was fantastic for exploring Beijing, especially with young children. We loved the nearby shopping street and easily ventured out. The breakfast spread was diverse with Asian and western options, and the staff was attentive during our stay.
In my wife’s opinion, the bathrooms need better safety features for kids. A non-slip mat or proper tub design would make a big difference.

The location of the Novotel in Beijing is fantastic. It made exploring the city so easy, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially at the bar, who organized a late dinner for me. I enjoyed the excellent breakfast. the range of choices was impressive. However, my room needed urgent updates. The decor looked dated and the bathroom was not clean, with a worn shower curtain that felt out of place. Though the bed could have been cozier, it was manageable for my short stay. I feel that some maintenance would really elevate the experience. Despite the room issues, I would stay here again.

The Deluxe King Room was spacious and cleaned daily, which was nice. The bed was super comfy, perfect for crashing after a long day of sightseeing. I appreciated the blackout curtains, too, they really helped with morning light. It did feel a bit dated, though, like the furniture could use a refresh. Overall, decent vibe but not brand-new feeling.

The nearby food scene is lit! I hit up Big Stuffed Dumplings and it was a game-changer. Plus, the staff were top-notch, especially when I lost my passport—big shoutout to Mr Haiyang! The breakfast spread was also banging, with plenty of local dishes to dive into.
On the flip side, the room I got smelled like an ashtray, which was not a vibe. Had to swap rooms three times! The bathroom cleanliness wasn’t up to par either, and the Wi-Fi was spotty at best.

Just a good pick for short visits in Beijing with outstanding value for money. The staff was helpful, but made mistakes on forms. Make sure to double-check anything important to avoid delays.
